Why We Like The 3ZERO MOTO 29in Carbon Boost Wheel
In the 3ZERO MOTO 29in Carbon Boost Wheel, Zipp looked to motorsports as a model to create a single-wall rim, a design that locally flexes to stay parallel to the ground as we fly around corners to take the shortest route around a technical course. In the middle of the wheel, we find the German-engineered ZM2 hubset which features 12 pawls and 132 points of engagement, in turn delivering a fast response and extreme durability on rough terrain. With this 29in wheel, we can confidently ride knowing we have a higher impact resistance, a reduced chance of pinch flatting, and stress-free tire installation.

Magical
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
These wheels do exactly what they say they do. They are not light, they don't spin up fast like a lot of carbon wheels. I rode the first iteration of these wheels when they came out 6 years ago. I loved the wheels but hated the original hubs, they were quite loud but had slow engagement. This updated version is plenty quick and quieter. I love the way the wheel soaks up impacts and doesn't deflect like traditional wheels. I love the way the rim flexes and drives the tire into the ground more effectively. I love that it feels like I am running 2-3 psi less in my tires, but without the squirm of the lower pressure. I have ridden a lot of high end carbon wheels from a lot of different brands and these were the first to really make a big difference in the way I wanted. If you blow up berms and want the stiffest wheel you can find, these are not for you. If you carve berms, and want more traction in off camber turns, with a noticeably more compliant ride (phenomenal on hard tails) then you want these wheels.

Had to replace the stock rim tape
I've had these wheels for 8 months. I go biking at least every weekend. They've held up pretty good but recently I had to remove my rear wheel and after I did, it went flat. Tried filling it up again but noticed sealant coming out of the spokes. The stock rim tape had failed. Not a big deal but I expect better for the price that I paid for.

Do these wheels come with the Zipp Lifetime warranty? Also, is there any way to see pictures of each color/ can I buy aftermarket stickers to make both rims match in color? Thanks!
