A great indoor trainer
I really love this bike, and found it very easy to setup using the measurements from my road bike. Pairs easily with the Zwift app (with the possible exception of the slope changes, which I don't yet have working reliably).

Best fitness investment I’ve made.
Best fitness investment I’ve made. Set up was a breeze, got it sized/adjusted and dialed in no time. Love the selection of crank arm lengths and gearing choices. And of course since I Zwift, I’m very happy with the Zwift controls.

6 weeks in - worth every penny
Worth every penny. Ride is smooth, power output is consistent and the transition between gears is so smooth and easy it has taken my racing to a new level. It did take a few weeks to tweak the fit to be fully comfortable, but once I finally got it right there is no looking back. I decided to invest as I do 98% of my riding indoors and I was tired of taking my bike and direct drive trainer to the bike shop for maintenance and troubleshooting when things were not right. I've had the bike for about 6 weeks now and so far so great!

Let the sweat flow
Does what they say, setup is easy and configuration is just like my road bike. connects to ridding apps very quickly. Shifting is great. Elevation is interesting but not something I use much. Add a rocker plate and it almost like a real bike. This makes indoor training tolerable.

Great but one issue
The Kickr bike is a well engineered bike simulator. It was easy to set up and get going with Zwift workouts. Super stable and capable. Riding experience is smooth and I like the full integration with Zwift. I’m 70 years old and my preferred fit puts the top of the handlebar pretty level with the top of the saddle. To match my set up of the size 54 Specialized Diverge, I had to swap out the Kickr stem with a shorter one with a steeper angle. This could also be achieved with the stock stem by running the bike at a 3% or so incline. But using the incline to get the dimensions is incompatible with Zwift controlling the incline. My recommendation would be for wahoo to add the ability to move the zero incline setting via the software thus expanding the range of set up dimensions. An adjustable zero point for incline. Maybe this is available but I didn’t see it anywhere in the app. I am very happy with my purchase and would absolutely recommend this machine as a “close to real as possible” trainer.

After years of using the wahoo kickr for my indoor training needs, I decided to upgrade to the kickr bike. The kickr bike feels great and does everything I have come to expect with my old smart trainer. I hope to have less maintenance requirements with this for the years to come.

Tough to give an accurate review when you cant even connect your bike to your bluetooth because my iphone is apparently not a new enough model to download the app I apparently need to get my bike to connect to my computer. To surmise: 4k bike, 2k computer no good because of i6 phone. Fantastic

Mostly good
I rate it between pretty good and pretty okay. I’m surprised for the cost that little things like the seat post keeps slipping, the gears need to be frequently unplugged and replugged in to work properly …. I’ve spoken to other smart bike owners who have expressed the same problems. Otherwise it seems good.

Awesome with Zwift, but quick release seat height control is terrible
Great features and connectivity to Zwift. Easy to maneuver if you need to move it around. However, the seat post height is controlled with a quick release that is nearly impossible to get right -- either so tight it can barely close (or you use too much force and break it, which I've done as just a small female!) or its not tight enough so the seat slips down frequently during rides. We have several riders in the house, and the ability to make adjustments for each rider is the reason I bought the Kickr -- it has not lived up to that promise.

Very smooth operation. Feels just like a real bike. My only issue is the seat and handlebars do not clamp very secure. No matter how hard I tighten down both the seat and handlebars, they always loosen up and do not hold the position, and end up sliding down. I might have excpected this issue after years of use, but its happening on every ride everytime right out of the box, and I have tightened the clasp so hard I can barley close it. Besides that, the ride is super smooth and works excellent with zwift.
