Incredibly intuitive

I've used a lot of bike computers, GPS watches, and tracking apps over the years, but this is hands down the most intuitive option out there once you get it set up to your liking. The screen scrolling functions very similarly to a phone, it's insanely easy to connect other sensors, and it has some pretty neat features like a bell when you double tap the bottom of the screen to eliminate handlebar clutter. It's easy to see no matter how bright the sun is, and the buttons duplicate most of the on-screen action too. It's almost perfect, besides the setup and the mount. First off, don't bother with the included mount unless you're looking for cheap aero integration. Just get yourself something like the KOM CM06 right off the bat. Second, the setup process is tedious. Once you connect it to your phone and wifi, it goes through several reboot loops that could take 5 minutes or 35 minutes. After that, you need to go into the phone app to change settings like auto start/stop and miles/kilometers.

The ELEMNT ROAM 3 is a robust, adventure-focused GPS cycling computer with a large 2.8" high-resolution color touchscreen that’s easy to read in any light, even with gloves on. What stands out most is its intuitive navigation—turn-by-turn directions, audible alerts via built-in speaker, and smart rerouting keep you on track whether you’re exploring new trails or retracing your route. The seamless integration with popular training apps and sensors, plus a streamlined Wahoo app setup, means syncing workouts and customizing profiles is quick and hassle-free. I especially liked the adaptive brightness and anti-glare display, which made maps and data clear in bright sun and low light... also my retinas are no longer seared by the sun when the light hits it just right. This GPS is a reliable choice for long, all-day rides or multi-surface adventures... also the HR montitor has really improved my riding and fitness. Don't use the mount in the box if you are putting on your MTB though (it sucks), get the mount that goes on your stem! Plus it makes you look way slicker!
