This is my second set

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer
Size Bought:
700x32 and x34

I get 1,500 to 2,000 road miles out of a set of 32mm tires while ranging from 245 to 260 lbs. At my weight, clearly I am not a racer, and these tires have done their job with no complaints. My first set of these tires were 32mm, and I am trying 34mm this year. I use them on a Trek Emonda, 25mm internal width wheels, nice roads, and dry weather only. I have had zero punctures.

Junk tires. Tried to save money and I just wasted it.

QC nonexistent/impossible mount/returned

Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it

Bought a pair in November 2023, 700x26 tubeless “ready,” to mount on 18 mm internal width tubeless rims. It took an hour to get one to seat up, and the other never went. The beads were waaay too tight. Also took 25 minutes plus levers to get the beads on. It was impossible to get enough air through the valve to get them on the rims, despite using bead mounting compound. Then after adding sealant and installing the valve core it was completely impossible. I fought with them for two hours. Any reasonable quality control would have caught the beads which were below tolerance. As an experiment, I tried putting a tube inside, and they still refused to seat up. Made by teenagers in Thailand. This is how you kill your brand. What would I have done if I got a puncture on the road that was not filled by the sealant? If it takes 40 minutes of blister-raising to get the tire back on the rim, and then the beads are so tight it won’t seat, where does that leave me? SOL. Thankfully Vittoria took them back (despite making me eat the shipping cost both ways plus taxes). Their warranty tech replied with a bit of attitude, stating “hookless rims and tubeless tires are the way the bike industry is going, so deal with it.” Greeeeeeeaaat service there. I bought a pair of GP 5000s and installed them in ten minutes, then went for a ride.

Bad

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I have been riding Victoria's for the past few years. I have been very happy with the prior models Rubino Pros. Unfortunate that the quality control on this model is so poor. I bought a pair to start the season. One of the two had a bad bulge. I returned the tire to Comp cyclist and they were very good in replacing with another Corsa N.ext. However this new tire had the same problem. So I guess I'm done with Victoria. Still have the rear tire which seems fine but I have now replaced the front with a Conti.

My last 5 pair fell apart within a few months. Rubber separated from casing, cracking rubber, weak sidewall… not what I wanted in an $80/ ea road tire

Bad Tires

I used them for a couple of weeks and they started to fall apart just like the continental 5000

Fitted in January of 2024, initially liked the feel and thought I would have plenty of trouble free riding. After 1,800 miles the rear was shredded and there was hardly any black left. Front was going that way too. I am used to getting 3,000 - 4,000 from Specialized or Continentals so this was a major disappointment. Would not recommend.

I have ridden Vittoria tires since I was 15 in 1988. I've never had an issue and only 1 flat that I can recall. That's pretty incredible. I'd been running the Corsa Control 2.0's for the last 4-5 years with zero issues and thought I'd try the new tire. I'm running Enve 3.4s which are are a staggered, slight deeper rim, so of course difficult to install tires, but I could not get these tires to seal. I retaped, installed new valve stems, used the same Orange seal I've always used. No luck. Took them to my local shop. They retaped, same sealant. Higher than usual pressure at 80psi. 4 miles. No luck. Went back to the shop a second time. Another ride. Maybe 6 miles. No luck. Back to the shop a third time. New tires. Specialized S-Works. No issue. Doubt I can return the Vittoria's here. Maybe they'll hook up on another set of wheels. Good thing CC had them on sale when I purchased. Really bummed. Looked like a great tire and felt great for the 5 or 6 rides they were fully inflated. Definitely check to see if anyone else is riding the same tire/wheel combo prior to purchase to avoid frustration and being stranded. No way you're changing these on the fly and CO2 won't get you home.
