Designed for elite-level road racing and triathlon, the Vision Metron 45 RS wheelset is the next generation in aerodynamic performance. Engineered through CFD simulations and validated in the wind tunnel, the 45mm deep carbon rims deliver a fine-tuned blend of speed and control. Handmade with both carbon rims and carbon aero spokes, the construction reduces rotational weight while boosting lateral stiffness for immediate response under acceleration.

At the heart of this system is Vision’s advanced PRS (Precision Ratchet System) hub. The helical clutch mechanism features 72 points of engagement, giving riders a crisp, 5-degree pickup. This hub not only accelerates quicker but also improves durability and power transfer under high loads. Sealed cartridge bearings—two in the front and four in the rear—ensure smooth spinning and long-term reliability.

Optimized for modern tires, the 23mm internal width supports a wider contact patch for improved grip and rolling resistance. The spoke count—21 front and 24 rear—uses a 2:1 lacing pattern to balance spoke tension and increase power transmission. With tubeless-ready rims and compatibility with Shimano and SRAM freehubs, the Metron 45 RS is ideal for everything from circuit races to solo time trials.
