T-Bone Knee Guard offers breathable EVA protection in a pedal-friendly, secure-fit design
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"I wanted something light but still protective, and these hit that mark. I can pedal in them all day without fuss, but they’ve held up through some real crashes too. Super solid everyday pad."
Designed for the demands of modern trail and enduro riding, the Troy Lee Designs T-Bone Knee Guard delivers reliable protection in a minimalist, all-day-wearable package. The EVA padding is strategically shaped to flex with the knee, staying comfortable while offering impact absorption where it matters most.
A streamlined slip-on design with elastic cuffs and silicone grip strips ensures a secure fit that won’t shift mid-ride, while breathable mesh panels keep air flowing on hot climbs and fast descents. Reinforced abrasion zones increase the lifespan of the pad, even after repeated use in rough terrain.
Ideal for riders who want one pad to do it all—pedal up, rip down, and stay protected in between—the T-Bone is a dependable, fuss-free knee guard for daily trail use or lift-access action.

Great Pads
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I normally wear medium sized pads but I actually had to size down on these because I had to fully extend the straps to fit and I was worried it could slip. I've had G-form and Fox slip on style knee pads and they slip down a lot during a ride and it's annoying, also they don't hold up very well on bigger crashes . First wore these on the Whole Enchilada and these TLD T-Bone pads has straps that definitely helps prevent slipping and I don't even notice these pads during a climb. Has decent padding on strategic parts of the knee. Really liking these knee pads so far.

These save my ass!
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
This is my second pair of T Bones and I swear by them. My last pair has been going strong (because I fall a LOT) for two years now... The only thing to be advised about is washing. Close the straps all the way to fully cover the Velcro on both pads before you throw into the wash! My last pads had to have the Velcro replaced because it wouldn?t stick anymore and I?ve gotten much smarter now. After some time, they will smell even if you wash them...it?s the name of the game. Bath water and baking soda did the trick. Will never wear different pads!!

Knee pads you don?t think about
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
These offer good protection in a lightweight easy to pedal package. The straps don?t bind and they don?t shimmy down or bunch up. Like them so much I even use them for skateboarding.
