Red eTap Blip Shift Buttons

With the simple tap of your finger, the SRAM Red eTap Blip Shift Buttons allow you to shift and choose where you want to be in control of your drivetrain. Working with SRAM's wireless AIREA satellite technology, this component gives you the advantage of maintaining a consistent body position during the hard-hitting last few meters of a long climb. You'll be able to mount the Blip Shift buttons anywhere on your drop or aero bars for added customization and accessibility, so don't write off an important aspect of eTap's line. They may not be the biggest or shiniest, but they're quality components that deliver what you need when you're stretched thin on a long ride.

Dead Button

The Blip shift buttons wear out. I went to electronic shifting in 2019 and the left button stopped returning to start position. It just stayed down. I think I got a year out of it: 5000 to 6000 miles. I am still using my second set, over 10000 miles, but the left is not as springy as it was. I bought this new set to take as backup for a week long cycling event. I did not need to use it.
