Lightweight alloy frame, kid-specific fit, and 9-speed gearing make Riprock 20 ready for real trails
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"Fit is everything here—the narrow Q-factor, 115mm cranks, and short-reach shifter make the Riprock 20 feel natural right away. Add big-volume tires and real hydraulic brakes, and young riders get pro-level control without extra weight.”
Riprock 20 translates proven MTB features into kid-sized control. The A1 Premium Butted Alloy frame routes cables internally, uses a 148mm rear thru-axle for stiffness, and is dropper-ready with a 30.9mm seat tube. Up front, the rigid alloy fork and 15x110mm Boost axle keep steering precise while trimming weight—ideal for building skills on real trails.
A 1x9 microSHIFT Advent drivetrain pairs a 30T ring with an 11–42t cassette, giving young riders an easy low gear for climbs and simple, short-reach shifting. Hydraulic disc brakes with 160mm rotors provide consistent stopping with minimal hand force, while Ground Control 20x2.35in tires increase traction and comfort without the complexity of suspension. Kid-specific touchpoints—600mm bar, 35mm stem, 130mm Kids Bridge saddle, and lock-on grips—complete a dialed fit. For parents, tool-free through-axles and robust alloy rims (25mm internal) mean easy transport and lasting durability.
From school-run shortcuts to beginner singletrack, Riprock 20 is engineered to deliver confidence, control, and fun—ride after ride.
Heads up – We do our best to keep bike specs and images current, but occasional component changes can happen without warning—and sometimes the photos might not show the exact build you'll receive. If you want to double‑check the details, our Gearheads are always here to help.
