Control every descent with the Shimano RT-CL900 Rotor—engineered for cool, quiet stops

What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:

"I run the RT-CL900s on both my Dura-Ace and GRX builds. They shed heat so well I almost never feel fade, even on big alpine rides. The best part? They're quiet. No more annoying howls halfway down a canyon."

Built to handle the extremes of road, gravel, and endurance riding, the Shimano RT-CL900 Disc Brake Rotor combines industry-leading heat control with a design that virtually eliminates brake noise. With sizing from 140mm to 203mm, this rotor gives riders the versatility to match performance needs across disciplines.

The RT-CL900 features Shimano’s advanced two-piece construction, combining a lightweight aluminum core with a stainless steel braking surface. This not only cuts weight but also boosts heat dissipation, while the addition of heat-dissipation paint further elevates performance on prolonged descents. The robust arm structure adds rigidity, reducing vibration and making each braking input feel smooth and controlled.

Compatible with Shimano Center Lock hubs and all brake pad compounds, the RT-CL900 comes ready to install with a serrated internal lockring. Whether you’re building out a featherweight climber or a long-haul gravel machine, this rotor provides fade-free power and the kind of silent performance we want when the ride demands full focus.

Shimano RT-CL900 rotor review

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

Really like these rotors. They look great but the real deal is how they feel going down steep runs. The original rotors felt weak but these give the control I need because I am a larger male and bomb the downhills. Do yourself a favor and upgrade to a rotor you can trust.

Goodbye annoying disc clicking/rubbing

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

Upgraded from the older ultegra 11 speed disc rotors, which would produce the annoying rubbing/ting/clicking sound after extensive brake use during descend or riding on hoods due to heat deformation. This new rotor has solved this problem finally at least for me.
