Gravity-tuned SPD shoe with enhanced stiffness and a precision BOA® fit system
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
“I ride these when I want max confidence on technical descents without sacrificing pedaling performance. They feel planted, supportive, and have just the right grip when I’m off the pedals.”
For riders pushing the edge of what’s rideable, Shimano’s SH-GE900HS SPD shoe offers elite gravity performance in a race-refined platform. The narrow last hugs the foot for full control, and the BOA® Li2 dial with a bash guard ensures quick, on-the-fly adjustments that won’t back out under stress.
Shimano cranked up the EVA midsole hardness by 25%, significantly boosting stiffness and support while preserving ride comfort. Torsional stability is improved for confident cornering, and the outsole features Shimano’s proprietary rubber compound with toe traction studs to support every hike-a-bike scramble. A reinforced synthetic leather upper, protective ankle collar, and two-bolt SPD compatibility round out this purpose-built gravity shoe.
