Power your ride cleanly and reliably with Shimano’s BT-DN300 Di2 Battery system
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"The BT-DN300 gives me the same compact fit as my old battery but with updated wiring options. I’m keeping things clean and tucked away while adding wired backup—exactly what I want for a modern 12-speed Di2 setup."
The Shimano BT-DN300 Built-In Di2 Battery brings next-generation compatibility and clean aesthetics to your electronic drivetrain. Matching the slim form of the BT-DN110, it tucks discreetly into a frame or seatpost while powering both front and rear derailleurs with stable 7.4V output.
Equipped with three SD300 ports, the DN300 is designed to support Shimano’s latest 12-speed Di2 platforms, including the R9250, R8150, R7150, and RX825 series. Whether running a semi-wireless cockpit or a fully wired system, this battery adapts with seamless integration. For riders prioritizing system redundancy, the third port adds wired backup capability without altering setup.
Weighing just 52g and compatible with Shimano’s E-TUBE PROJECT software for firmware updates, the DN300 offers a lightweight, future-proof solution for precision shifting across road and gravel disciplines.

Excellent shifting, Poor ergonomics
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Not sure what this "SHIU1OS" is but expect it is the shifter part of the XTR Di2 upgrade I just bought. No complaints about the shifting itself. It is quick and could be quicker if I so desired. The multishift is rock solid as Di2 is in general. As for ergonomics I am not a fan of thumb shifters, which this is one. There is really no way to put both triggers in easy reach of the thumb. If the downshift is under the thumb, the upshift will be behind it. Apparently the current (hopefully short-lived) trend to thumb shifting is so "the fingers can stay on the brakes". I never had any issues with braking with the old-school trigger shifters. I actually can't recall a time when I was trying to shift while braking for that matter. So on that front this shifter gets one star for an overall 3 stars.
