The Santa Cruz Tallboy Carbon C GX AXS T-Type build is engineered for riders who demand maximum trail versatility in a fast, low-slung package. With 120mm of rear travel controlled by Santa Cruz’s VPP™ suspension and a 130mm FOX 34 Float fork, it punches above its travel class—maintaining climbing efficiency while feeling planted and agile through descents and corners.

The Carbon C frame is laid up for strength, weight savings, and stiffness, and it features internal routing through the headtube, a threaded bottom bracket, and a flip chip in the rear axle to adjust geometry. Paired with SRAM’s GX Eagle AXS Transmission, the Tallboy delivers crisp wireless shifting and robust direct-mount drivetrain durability. SRAM Code Bronze Stealth 4-piston brakes handle braking duties with 180mm rotors front and rear for trail-level stopping power.

Rolling on Reserve 30|SL alloy rims laced to DT Swiss 370 hubs and wrapped in 2.4" Maxxis Forekaster tires, this build keeps momentum high and control consistent across loose-over-hardpack or rooty lines. A OneUp dropper, carbon handlebar, and SDG Bel-Air saddle complete the dialed trail cockpit, making the Tallboy Carbon C GX AXS a capable all-rounder for serious trail riders who want fast handling without feeling limited by terrain.
