Santa Cruz engineered the Stigmata Frame to be a high-efficiency gravel platform with the serviceability and compatibility serious riders demand. The Carbon CC layup targets an excellent stiffness-to-weight ratio, translating pedal input into forward motion while filtering high-frequency chatter that saps energy over long distances. Geometry is anchored around a gravel-specific fork standard—430mm axle-to-crown with a 45mm offset—to deliver stable tracking at race pace and predictable steering on loose surfaces.

Build flexibility is central to this chassis. Tire clearance supports up to 700c × 50mm for 1x setups, or 45mm with 2x, so you can bias toward speed on hardpack or footprint and damping on rough routes. Drivetrain options are wide open: a clamp-on front derailleur mount allows 2x, maximum chainring sizes of 42t (1x) or 50t (2x) are supported, and the UDH interface ensures modern rear-mech compatibility and easier hanger sourcing when travel or mishaps strike.

Service details are chosen for real-world use. A threaded 68mm bottom bracket simplifies routine maintenance, the integrated IS41/52 headset keeps the front end clean and creak-free, and 142mm rear spacing maintains wheel availability while delivering lateral stiffness. Three bottle mounts expand range and fueling strategies for big days or ultra events. At an approximate frameset weight of 4.12lb (1.87kg), the Stigmata Frame is an efficient, future-ready starting point for anything from a featherweight race build to a tough, all-day explorer.
