Carbon CC gravel chassis, Apex Eagle 12‑speed range, race‑day ready
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
“The Carbon CC frame tracks precisely under load, while the 27.2 post and carbon fork keep it compliant over washboard. Apex Eagle’s 10–50t cassette with a 42t ring covers race pace and loaded days. 700×45 on 25mm‑internal rims sets up tubeless fast with Fillmore valves. It’s an efficient, low‑maintenance gravel platform that stays on top of cadence when pitches get steep.”
The Stigmata CC Apex is a purpose‑built gravel platform that blends low weight, lateral stiffness, and long‑ride compliance. Santa Cruz’s Carbon CC layup delivers a chassis that responds instantly to accelerations yet filters the high‑frequency buzz that wears you down over hours. The handling is balanced for speed and stability, letting you carve washboarded corners with confidence and keep the bike straight when the pace gets hot on open roads.
SRAM’s Apex Eagle 1×12 drivetrain brings true wide‑range efficiency to gravel with a 10–50t cassette paired to a 42t ring, giving seamless jumps for race efforts and bailout gearing for loaded climbs. Braking is handled by Apex hydraulic discs with Centerline 160mm rotors for consistent modulation in heat, dust, and rain. Rolling stock is a durable WTB ASYM i25 alloy wheelset on DT Swiss 370 hubs, wrapped in Maxxis Rambler 700×45c tires—fast on hardpack, surefooted in loose marbles, and easy to seal tubeless thanks to Reserve Fillmore valves.
Fit and service details are dialed for real‑world use: a 27.2mm post for extra compliance, a threaded 68mm bottom bracket for straightforward maintenance, and UDH compatibility for future‑proof drivetrain support. Tire clearance is generous—up to 50mm with 1x or 45mm with 2x—and the frame includes three bottle mounts to stretch your range. With a starting weight around 20.86lb, the Stigmata CC Apex is efficient enough for start lines and tough enough for big‑day exploration.
Heads up - We do our best to keep bike specs and images current, but occasional component changes can happen without warning—and sometimes the photos might not show the exact build you'll receive. If you want to double-check the details, our Gearheads are always here to help.
