Terra Carbon Post
Roval wants you to spend more time riding and less time standing, and engineers the Terra Carbon Post to give some much needed vertical compliance without losing strength or adding weight. Using an advanced composite layup, the Roval Terra layers the material in “varying elongation” at targeted locations to provide relief from hits that travel directly up the seat tube into the saddle. What you’ll notice is reduced jarring and a softer ride in the saddle, which may result in a far less fatiguing ride experience, and one that keeps your weight planted more often for added stability and traction over the rear.

Actually makes a difference in comfort
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:
- +20mm offset
I had read reviews of this seatpost (+20mm offset) making a substantive difference w.r.t. comfort on bumpy rides. I was skeptical, but *immediately* noticed the difference coming from a carbon + aluminum clamp FSA SL-K offset seatpost. It does absorb smaller bumps and the accumulated difference helps for longer rides (~20mi); the looks are great to boot! One thing to be careful of is ensuring you have enough seatpost exposed for the curved offset, which roughly starts at the bottom of the "Roval" text on the back.
