Built for riders who want all-mountain versatility wrapped in a lightweight carbon chassis, the Rocky Mountain Instinct Carbon 50 Mountain Bike is a capable trail machine that climbs efficiently and descends with confidence. Featuring Rocky Mountain’s SMOOTHWALL Carbon front and rear triangles, this frame is lightweight, stiff, and optimized for both uphill responsiveness and downhill control. The RIDE-9 adjustable geometry and two-position axle allow for six unique geometry settings to fine-tune handling for any terrain or rider preference.

The Instinct Carbon 50’s suspension layout pairs a 150mm Fox 36 Float EVOL GRIP fork with a 140mm Fox Float DPS Performance rear shock, offering a well-balanced ride that handles high-speed chatter and big hits alike. The frame incorporates size-specific shock tunes, sealed bearings, and ISCG05 tabs for chain guide compatibility. It’s built to be responsive on climbs while staying composed on chunky, technical descents.

Componentry includes a Shimano XT rear derailleur with matching XT shifter for smooth 12-speed performance, Race Face Aeffect cranks, and a 10–51T SLX cassette. Shimano SLX 4-piston brakes with metal pads bring reliable stopping power, while the WTB i30 rims and Maxxis Minion EXO+ tires provide traction and durability in aggressive conditions.
