Confident geometry and 130mm travel make the Rocky Mountain Growler 20 Mountain Bike trail-tough

What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:

"The Growler 20 is such a solid value for riders getting into aggressive trail riding. The 130mm fork and long front end give it a stable ride feel, and the 2.6in tires really help it float over rough ground. It’s simple, durable, and surprisingly well-equipped for how affordable it is."

Built for technical trails and rowdy descents, the Rocky Mountain Growler 20 Mountain Bike blends classic hardtail toughness with modern trail features. The 6061 aluminum frame sports a slack front end and dropper-post compatibility for confident control in steep and technical terrain. Paired with a 130mm Suntour XCM34 suspension fork and 29 x 2.6in tires, this bike smooths out rocky sections and keeps you tracking through the rough.

The MicroShift Advent X 10-speed drivetrain provides simplicity without compromising performance, using a wide-range 11–48T cassette for steep climbs and fast flats. Clarks M2 2-piston hydraulic disc brakes with 180mm rotors deliver ample stopping power. A Rocky Mountain Toonie Drop seatpost comes stock, allowing quick on-the-fly adjustments for climbing and descending.

Tubeless-ready TR30 wheels, wide 780mm bars, and a thoughtfully specced cockpit round out the build. Perfect for riders who want a capable, budget-conscious trail bike with all the key modern touches to grow their confidence on challenging terrain.
