Louis Garneau Gravel Bike Shoes

Upon receipt of reviewed product, I found the composition of the shoes, both the upper part of shoes & soles to be more than expected for the price. Uppers were made of tough/rugged materiels & soles were just knobby enough to provide good grip & ease of walking. Cleats fit & secured perfectly to shoe sole housing. I like the roomy toe space & somewhat hardness on shoe top in toe area. It offered protection from any sharp sticks/stone edges. Although the 3 velcro straps kept shoe secure & offered easy adjustment as well as eliminating the potential for gravel/mountain terrain & shrubs to interfere with other type of closures but I still would have preferred have Boa closures probably a result of familiarity & easier foot entry. Bottom line is that I found this shoe to be an excellent choice for my purposes and am totally satisfied with the purchase. Great Value for the expense.
