Poor Features
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
- Size Bought:
- Medium
I bought a medium size helmet, figuring that I could adjust it either way as needed. The webbing inside was too large. I tried to make it tighter, but the adjustment mechanism did not work, so I sent it all back for a refund.

Structurally improved, but fits the same
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
My new Lazar helmet fits exactly like the old one, which is exactly what I wanted. I like the orange for riding on the road in an area that at one point might be hunting season for something it fits great as did the old one. I made a good decision..

Great, breathable helmet!
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
If you’re a casual rider who just enjoys getting out on your bike, the Lazer Z1 KinetiCore is a great choice. What stands out most is how lightweight and comfortable it feels, almost to the point you forget you’re wearing it. The helmet’s ventilation is excellent, keeping your head cool even on warm days. The fit system takes a little while to get used to, but making small adjustments on the ride, without have my hair get caught in it is a huge plus.

Lazer wreaked it

I had a 2020 z1. Easily the best helmet I've ever had... i used it for almost 20,000mi. The new one has straps that you can't adjust forward or back tension on allowing the helmet itself to slide backwards. So disappointing, a $20 Walmart helmet would fit and protect better than the new Z1

Great helmet

I bought this helmet last month and am so happy that I did. The only thing that I would suggest to potential buyers is to be certain of the size you need to purchase. In my case I purchased a large. I based the sized on my previous helmet which recommended the same size dimensions as the one I purchased. Unfortunately for me, (I must be an in between head size) the large fits loosely on my head with it adjusted to the smallest size.

lazer z-1 kineticore
always preferred the lazer helmets, but they now have no adjustment where the straps come together under the ear. So you can't adjust the fore-aft fit on your head. As it is it reveals more of my forehead than i'm used to. No way to change it.

Lazer Z1 Keneticore Helmet
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times

This is a good helmet, light weight which is key for me. I spend a lot of time in the mountains climbing and I hate having a 300+ gram helmet just pouring sweat on me. The one issue I have with it is my head measures 59cm which Lazer specifies as a large. I have the adjustment wheel moved all the way to the smallest setting and the helmet is still a little loose. So if you are borderline between a medium and large go with the medium size. The helmet vents really well but the front of the helmet is raised so it looks like there is an 1 1/2 to 2" between the top of your sunglasses and the helmet. It is a little strange so it would totally be a personal preference item
