My 965 is easy to use and accurate
My friend had a 965 and after a mountain bike ride he had lots of data to review. We spent a few minutes reviewing the data. So much helpful information such as average bpm, max bpm, average speed, max speed, and a lot more. The map feature that shows where you expend more energy is cool. I decided to buy a 965 as well. I am 67 and find the 965 is easy to use. Seems very accurate. The IQ app is very easy to use. Battery life is impressive. I get about 12-14 days on a charge There is a learning curve with the 965 but because the basic things that I use are easy to figure out it's fun to add to my knowledge at my pace. The 965 is a cool tool to track your daily progress. The more I use it the more I like it.

You are not serious without it.
This is my first Garmin device. Initially, I was hesitant to purchase one due to previous negative experiences. However, retrospectively, I recognize that I did myself a significant disservice by not acquiring one sooner, particularly given my commitment to serious training and maintaining good health. There are only a few devices and companies that make me seriously consider purchasing the entire suite of devices. Almost every day, I find myself contemplating adding to the Garmin suite or ecosystem.

Bright, bigger screen
Attracted by the larger screen and alleged longer battery life; it has been great on hikes and runs. Battery life not so impressive. A Forerunner 945 last a week plus on a charge, 965 not so much.

Exceptional build quality, all features are spot on. For a triathlete, this is the best watch by far (coming from a Fenix 7s) for the price.

Great run/walk companion
I upgraded recently to this model and am so glad I did. I love how precise the GPS and it pairs beautifully with the Garmin heart rate monitor to keep my training in check. Great purchase!
