Why We Like The Garmin fenix 8 AMOLED Sapphire Sport Watch

Whatever plateau we're breaking through, Garmin's fenix 8 AMOLED Sapphire Sport Watch is tracking and driving our every step. The bomber, submersible construction meets the moxie required for rugged terrain and technical pursuits, while the heart rate, ECG, and blood oxygen saturation metrics clue us in to how our body is handling the demands. With 145 hours of juice in max battery GPS mode, this watch outlasts the sun time and time again, while the built-in LED flashlight comes to save the day when our headlamp flickers out. However deep into the backcountry we go, the SatIQ tech keeps our position locked in without draining the battery.

The built in flashlight itself is so worth it. I use it multiple times a day. The dive computer feature is also great.

Great product

The new UI is amazing and this feature rich product is so easy to use. I’m an avid hiker and backpacker, that also does charity runs. This watch does it all.

Astounding!

I've only had my Fēnix 8 AMOLED 43 mm for five days, but I absolutely love it. There are too many good things about it for me to write about here, so it seems to me the best I can do is say that I'm happy and relieved to have made the purchase.

Fenix 8 is Great

Great Battery Life and Awesome Features! I use this watch daily for running, MTBing and strength training. the watch performs well and the battery last about 3 weeks. I really like the suggested workouts which keep me on track. this feature is great wether you are just getting started or seasoned runner/cyclist. if you are interested in tracking your fitness progress this is a great option and I would highly recommend.

Excellent in All Regards

I bought the Fenix 8 after a couple of less-than-optimal experiences with competitor products. After several months with the watch, I am convinced that there is not a more thoughtfully designed sports watch on the market. Everything on this watch just works, and Garmin has thought of everything. Even small details like the watch automatically ejecting water from the speaker after a watersports activity speak to the level of detail that Garmin focused on when designing this watch. The software is fast and fluid, the screen is brilliant, and the health and exercise data collected is precise and presented in a useful and palatable format. The only thing that I feel could use some improvement with the watch is that when I take a phone call from the watch, there is evidently a lot of microphone feedback, as in people talking to me through my watch hear a significant echo of everything they say. Overall, an excellent watch that I feel is well worth the higher price tag.

Does so much, I don't there is a person om earth that can use every feature, I wear it everyday, use it to keep me on task, use it for runs, and when i am in the mountains. Love this watch. I have charged it once, and I have had it for almost 3 or 4 months, I will charge it tomorrow for the second time.

Great start end of a really good brand

I had the opportunity to test a lot of smartwatches and sportwatches. After a long time, I decide to buy a new high end Garmin, and the first thing that I saw in the app? SUBSCRIPTION! Congratulation spending a lot of money on a watch and keep paying for the app... sadness...

The watch that does it all!

From backpacking, to running, to working out, this watch does it all. Instead of asking what this watch can do, the better question is what can it NOT do. The battery life is amazing and the GPS capabilities are unmatched. The AMOLED face is super bright even in the direct sunlight. Definitely not a watch that a beginner would need, but an amazing tool for an avid explorer and athlete!
