Enough with the BOA everywhere
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
Seemed like a great helmet, but didn't realize they used BOA to tighten onto head. It cut into the sides of my head when tighten. If you look at the underside photo, you'll see BOA cord on the sides. If you have any curveture on the sides of your head, the cord digs in. Not comfortable for me and my big melon. I returned it.

Fits better than the POC Cularis
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Posting this in 2025 where the 2025 models of POC Cularis and Speedframe RS are the top two best safety rated helmets by Virginia Tech. I looked at the Cularis at my LBS. It's less expensive and not quite as full featured, but it is clearly designed for a narrow head shape, and I was unable to find a good fit. The Speedframe shell has slightly rounder shape to it, and the size medium fits like a glove on my head. Yes, it's very expensive but I do appreciate the features. The included helmet bag, extra set of cushions, and GoPro mount are appreciated as well. I think this is one of, if not the best looking half shells on the market. the block colorways are awesome. I went with the "military paranoid" and it looks great in person - stylish and not overstated.

Best Helmet Ever
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
SUPER comfortable. Riding in hot weather and I don’t even know it’s on my head. I love the magnetic clip.
