Why We Like The Hellcat Pro Cycling Shoe
Built for battle on the trails through rain or shine, the Five Ten Men's Hellcat Pro Shoe barrels around berms and flies through pump tracks with confident comfort and protective performance. A lace and hook-and-loop closure combo cinches down the perfect fit quickly and easily, while its synthetic upper with DWR-treatment helps keep your feet dry when splashing through creeks or facing light rain storms. Meanwhile, the 3/4 dual-density, chatter-dampening TPU shank flexes when you want it for walking, and then stays rigid when you need it for pedaling. Comfort and support is further bolstered by the compression-molded EVA midsole without adding weight, and the Stealth C4 rubber outsole absorbs shock and reduces vibration while staying grippy on and off the bike.

Here's what customers have to say
The product reviews are generally positive, with customers praising the shoes for their comfort, stability, and performance on trails. Many noted the shoes are well-built and durable, with a sturdy toe box and stiff sole providing good power transfer. However, some customers reported issues with the sole separating or the strap tearing, and a few found the shoes heavier and less breathable than desired. Overall, the shoes seem to provide good value, though some customers may need to adjust the fit.

Happy all around
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
This is my first pair of "sneaker style" MTB shoes and I am very happy with them. I particularly like how easily they clip in to my pedals (the indent in the sole helps guide the cleat). They feel sturdy and well put together.

Still that weird toe shape
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it

I tried these around the house and at first they felt great. But then they hit this spot on the 4th toe, just like the kestrels I used to have. If you look at it compared to my freerider pro, you can notice the toe box angles over to the inside (big toe) rather than having a more straight path. It is weird because the shoes are fairly wide but it is like they decided to take an inside turn rather than keeping it straight. They need to get thw fit more like their flat shoes. Otherwise nice shoes...though like other lace shoes, getting a secure fit takes some effort. For now sticking with my ME7's for clipless use. They put these shoes to shame.

Heavy but nice
I was very skeptical when I opened the box. The shoes are heavy and look clunky, especially since I’m used to more traditional cycling shoes. I took a shot and wore them out for a ride, they are very comfortable, clip in and out well from the pedals, and are feel very stable. I definitely recommend. Only complaint is that the Velcro strap could be a little longer.

Great heavy duty shoe for gnarlier rides, tricky cleat setup.
Pluses- Super comfy and confidence inspiring low-top riding 'boots'. Heavy duty toe box makes me not worry about rock strikes or dabbing in the wrong rocky place. Minuses- Don't love that they are so heavy don't breathe too well and I've never had so much trouble dialing in the cleat to shoe setup in my 30+ years riding with clipless. (super deep cleat recess and tacky 5-10 rubber made releasing all but impossible until I completed screwed in my pedal studs AND added double shims under each cleat)

Extremely heavy and stiff
This shoe is more like a steel toed work boot than a mountain biking shoe. Each one weighs almost 2 lbs. Returned immediately!

Built like a tank
Bombproof bike shoes. Comfortable with great grip. Strap could do with being a fraction longer but overall great shoes
