Grippy and lace-free.
Sole grips the pedals very well and provides a strong platform on the downhills. Love not worrying about laces.

They are nice and easy to put on and tack off.
They are also very high quality. But they do get a little dirty

Very comfortable and quick on/off
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had freerider then trail cross ones and these boa are my favorite. The sole isn’t as stiff if you like a stiff sole. These flex close to a real shoe. Very comfortable and super easy on/off. Also least amount of debris in my shoes after a ride. Used for mtb woods north east single track.

Good shoe but unreliable closure system
Make the Boa device more dependable and reliable. The left shoe Boa broke after one month and approximately 15 uses.

So happy I bought these!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never thought wearing bicycle shoes would make a difference vs regular old sneakers. Boy was I wrong. These shoes are so awesome. No more numbness in the feet after a long ride. No more shoes sliding off the pedals. These shoes stick to the pedals like glue. Can’t say enough good things about them. Love the look too!

Not true to size
NOT TRUE TO SIZE - these are much larger than previous free rider pro models. I would size down by one entire shoe size. I even put size 10 next to my old pair and you could tell just looking at them they were not the same size at all.

Comfy & Steezy
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I’ve been meaning to try the boa system — and I’m glad I did. The boa system tightens around my foot nicely and its super easy to adjust. Aside from the boa, the insole is comfy and the outsole is grippy, though, I would like to see the criss cross pattern you find on vans. Overall, great riding shoe. The white stands out and is easy to clean after rides. Adidas sizing for me always run a half size big so go with however adidas fits you.
