No ventilation, never dry out.
Once these shoes get wet, weather sweat or water, they do not dry out. And sadly that means they start to smell extremely bad. I really liked the shoes in cooler weather, but hot summer riding on a regular basis has made them nasty.

Stable platform and great adjustability
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been riding with 5 10 shoes for years. Going back before Adidas owned them and have always loved the freerider pro. The addition of the boa system is amazing. I like my laces tight when I'm riding and usually would have to retire them multiple time per ride. With the boa I can adjust them while riding a connector trail

Sole separated.
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
The first pair I returned because there was a bubble in the sole. The second pair performed well until about 6 weeks and then the sole separated. Too expensive for such a quick fail. Do not recommend.

Perfect for the trail
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well fitting show, tough enough for any trail and the boa system keeps the shoe firmly in place.

BOA rocks
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn’t sure about BOA but I gave it a try. And I love it. BOA makes it so much easier to put on/off shoes. Plus find adjustments. Now I want all my shoes to have BOA. Shoes are hard but I guess you want them hard for bike paddles. May not be for long distance walking but good enough for short distances. They are good looking shoes for on and off bike. Get the BOA version, it’s worth it.

Grippy and lace-free.
Sole grips the pedals very well and provides a strong platform on the downhills. Love not worrying about laces.

They are nice and easy to put on and tack off.
