Cervélo’s S5 Red XPLR AXS 1 is engineered for riders who demand the absolute best in aerodynamic road performance. The S5’s latest evolution is built around a refined carbon frame with a deeper bayonet fork and head tube, boosting aerodynamic gains by over 6 Watts compared to its predecessor. The one-piece HB13 carbon handlebar and V-stem are designed for minimal drag and optimal rider positioning, using Cervélo’s Plus-Four concept to keep the hoods 4cm narrower than the drops for a more aero profile. The bike’s integration is carried through to the Reserve 57/64 Turbulent Aero wheels, co-developed with Reserve to perfectly match the S5’s asymmetric seat tube and rear triangle. This ensures smooth airflow and exceptional stability, even in turbulent crosswinds, while the wheels themselves are 3 Watts faster than previous Reserve 52/63 models. SRAM’s Red XPLR AXS 1 wireless drivetrain offers a single-ring setup with a 10-46T cassette, delivering a wide gear range and flawless shifting for racing and varied terrain. The S5’s carbon layup and hardware have been optimized to shed 124 grams, making this aero machine lighter than ever without sacrificing stiffness or ride quality. For finishing touches, the S5 Red XPLR AXS 1 includes a Selle Italia NOVUS BOOST EVO SuperFlow Carbon saddle, Vittoria Corsa Pro TLR 700x29c tires, and a suite of accessories for seamless integration with your favorite tech.
