Caledonia road bike blends endurance geometry with all-road versatility
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"I built up a Caledonia for big mileage days with unpredictable terrain, and it’s been the perfect mix of fast and forgiving. The geometry feels race-ready but with just enough compliance to stay fresh for long hours. It’s the kind of bike I grab when I’m not sure what the day will throw at me."
When our route blends fast tarmac, rough chip seal, and unexpected detours, the Cervélo Caledonia is our go-to ride. Engineered for real-world road riding—not just perfect racecourses—this endurance road bike keeps us efficient over the long haul without compromising speed. We love how the geometry hits that sweet spot: aggressive enough for pace lines, but relaxed enough for 100-mile days.
Cervélo shaped the carbon frame for compliance where it counts, like the seat stays and post, while keeping the front end precise and responsive. Tire clearance up to 34mm (or 31mm with fenders) lets us run plush rubber for more confidence and comfort. Whether it’s a fondo, a sunrise solo mission, or a ride that inevitably turns gravel, the Caledonia is ready.
Heads up - We do our best to keep bike specs and images current, but occasional component changes can happen without warning-and sometimes the photos might not show the exact build you'll receive. If you want to double-check the details, our Gearheads are always here to help.

This bike rides as advertised. Its extremely comfortable and doesn't beat you up. Bike is able to respong well to power without losing it all to flex. Its a perfect blend of my '21 TCR Advanced and '18 Diverge Comp. Most of the spare parts I own were used for this junkyard build. Currently running 32c Roubaix Pros to give it that sweet street suppleness.

I absolutely love my Caledonia! I have the Gloss Black built up with Shimano components, Enve cockpit and Reynolds wheels. It's crazy smooth and a lot easier on my back than my previous bike.

For your big, stupid rides. And more. Cervelo is the first to admit this bike doesn't fit into one category and I agree. I was looking for a bike that I could ride all day on the weekends but still enjoy the weekly group "race" ride and that's when I found the Caledonia. I have a CAAD12 race bike and an Ibis Hakka gravel bike. If those two bikes had an offspring you'd end up with something like the Caledonia. Perfect for me! Unless you are only ever racing up mountains, smashing local crits, or sending it down the singletrack on each and every ride you do, the Caledonia is the bike you should buy. There's nothing proprietary keeping you from riding it for years and years which I love. There's room for tires up to 34mm, I'm running 30's right now and it's lovely. It also has a removable front derailleur mount which is great if you choose to run a 1x system like me. You can run up to a 50T chainring with no issues. I like traveling (flying) with my bike and not having to deal with an integrated cockpit is the cherry on top. At the end of the day, it's a bike that can handle a dose of everything and put a smile on your face while doing it. And you're ready to do it all again the very next day because it won't beat you up.
