Replace your old plastic bottles!
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
The Bivo One is quickly replacing all of my old plastic bottles. Yes, it is UNINSULATED, but so are most plastic bottles out there. You can't beat how easy it is to drink out of these, and after the first day, you really don't miss having to squeeze a bottle. I've noticed that I drink a lot more water on rides since switching over to Bivo, and my water doesn't get the gnarly plastic taste after a few hours anymore in these either. The Raw aluminum version is great for using with side-load bottle cages, and the ones with the grippy coatings won't launch out on even the chunkiest descents. And if you really want cold water, get yourself a whiskey ice cube tray and drop one in at the beginning of your ride. Pro tip: You can completely disassemble the lid for easy cleaning or creating your own unique bottle.

Raw aluminum poor - Valve is Great
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
The valve is great, which is why I ended up getting an insulated bottle. Great flow, got used to it pretty quick, and so far easy to keep clean. Only got water up my nose a few times. overall 5 stars on the valve design for now. The raw aluminum doesn't insulate at all. If there's sun out and it's a warm day, the bottle will heat up the water super fast. If it's a hot day, you might as well make tea or hot chocolate with the water, cause it gets hot. Simply said, don't expect this bottle to keep anything warm or cold. I should have known better myself, but still was surprised at how thin the bottle was. Oh well. Save yourself the trouble, and get the insulated version.
