Why We Like The ASSOS MILLE GT C2 Bib Short
The MILLE GT C2 Bib Short is designed to take away irritations with stretchy and supportive material, and Assos' most comfortable insert to date. With fabric that enhances muscle support and wrinkle-free panels that mirror our physique, we can stay comfortable and focused on our ride. A raw-cut, tape-reinforced edge waist makes for the smoothest transition possible between the body and bib, and silicone leg grippers keep everything in place. And, for absolute comfort, Assos utilizes their MILLE GTO c2 insert for a plushy, frictionless feel throughout our ride.

Most comfortable bibs I have ever had!
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:
- Medium
I have been having a hard time finding the right bike shorts lately and have tried a number of brands. This is the first pair I have purchased that allow me to ride for 70 miles without problems. All the others have been shredding my butt after 45 miles!

Good Value

My last Assos shorts were the top “Mille” version so they were loaded with marketing check boxes. I wasn’t fond of the dropped waist in front, but overall they were excellent. The “koo-koo penthouse” was legit and appreciated. I bought this lower “Mille” version this time because I’m riding fewer miles, and am happy with their value. They are not the “unrestrained luxury” of the previous ones but I’m happier with the level waist front and they exude typical Assos comfort.

An awesome experience
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
An awesome experience compared to my other bibs. Just minus the stitching where my lower mid back, its like the t-junction where the stitching meet, does rub a bit. Other than that the padding and keeping cool is awesome.

Trust Assos
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
My first Assos bibs, and I'll never go back to any other brand. These are so comfy, its like they were custom made for me. The Chamois was great, even on my 90 mile ride in the summer heat a few weeks ago. The front comes up pretty high, which i really liked especially with a really small jersey on for optimal coverage. Only thing I'd want here is a laser cut edge on the legs, but that just means I have to buy another Assos big lol, let the swiss bib addiction begin.

Good for 50+ miles, no problem

I got these bibs specifically for longer rides when I knew I was going to be in the saddle a good chunk of the day, and they haven't disappointed me yet (including a particularly fun 4-hour rainy-day slog). I'm 5'-9", 155lbs with a 32" waist, and the mediums fit snug without being restrictive. And, of course, the styling and quality is the usual impeccable Assos standard.

This is my second pair of Mille GT bibs. I love the Assos as a brand. I used to think they were expensive, too expensive. But they are super comfortable and worth every penny.

Assos did not honor its warranty

These are expensive bib shorts. The stitching failed at the joint between the fabric and the cuff after less than a year. When I contacted Assos to ask them to honor the warranty, customer service reviewed the pictures and asserted (without evidence) that I had a crash and they refused to honor their warranty. These shorts are expensive, and I expected them to honor their warranty.

Love the ASSOS lower tier bibs! Great high density chamois that stays in place on long rides and swamp butt in Summers. Keep them out of the drier and they golden 👍🏻

ASSOS quality has gone down
Full disclosure that I believe Backcountry will make this situation right, but I cannot believe what I just received from ASSOS. I have multiple pairs of these bibs and while they are the “budget” ASSOS bib, they generally hold up well. So I bought another pair after a previous one wore out. The pair I received this round DOES NOT EVEN HAVE COMPLETE STITCHING IN PLACE FOR THE CHAMOIS. How is this even possible? How did this pass quality inspection and make it to Backcountry’s warehouse?? I attached a photo for comparison and reference. The bibs on the right are correctly stitched, and the ones on the left after the garbage I received this round. Unfortunately I’m going to have to go on a very reluctant but necessary search for a new bib manufacturer, as this is unacceptable.
